Job Overview
Join our Corporate Partnerships team as a Supporter Relationship Manager and take ownership of a portfolio of corporate partners, helping them achieve their sustainability and social impact goals while expanding the Arbor Day Foundation's mission. You will develop strong partner relationships, consistently renew and grow partner commitments, and create experiences that increase both partner value and environmental impact.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to retain and grow an existing portfolio of 100 corporate partners
Build trusted, long‑term relationships and co‑create partnership plans that align business and mission goals
Deliver innovative, customized solutions that enhance partner engagement and impact
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure seamless delivery and strong partner outcomes
Provide consistent updates through presentations, reporting, and ongoing dialogue to increase visibility into our work
Manage partner budgets, forecasting, and ensure responsible stewardship of funds
Track all partner communications and performance metrics within CRM tools
Travel 10–15% (1–2 times per quarter) for partner meetings, conferences, and on‑site engagement opportunities
Qualifications
Passion for the Foundation’s mission, nature, environmental stewardship, and people
Demonstrated success building trusted relationships that increase engagement, strengthen loyalty, and create long‑term value
The ability to partner with stakeholders to understand their objectives and turn ideas into meaningful outcomes
Experience bringing people together across teams to deliver projects, solve problems, and achieve results
A history of navigating challenges, balancing competing priorities, and finding solutions that work for all parties involved
The initiative, curiosity, and accountability to take ownership of outcomes and continuously improve the partner experience
Success Criteria
Partners view the Arbor Day Foundation as an indispensable sustainability partner
Retention and portfolio growth goals are consistently achieved
Partnership strategies generate measurable business and environmental outcomes
Accurate tracking, reporting, and stewardship of partner resources
Internal teams see you as a collaborative partner who helps move projects forward
Location & Schedule
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
Schedule: In‑office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; optional remote work on Wednesday and Friday. Office hours are 8am to 5pm.
