Position Summary: As a Regional Sales Director, you’ll manage and motivate a high-performing team of Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) and Virology Care Specialists (VCSs) to achieve ambitious goals and build partnerships with healthcare providers and institutions. You’ll develop and execute regional business plans, set a vision for success, and create a culture of excellence and accountability.
Responsibilities

Lead a high-performing team of SAMs and VCSs; equip with skills and mindset to deliver and prepare for the future
Promote products responsibly to targeted healthcare providers and academic centers in alignment with policies, SOPs, and applicable laws/guidelines
Create a coaching, high-performance culture; set regional tone and vision
Drive compliant sales strategy to achieve/exceed revenue and growth objectives
Engage key accounts; shape strategies, build relationships, and expand/retain business
Coach in the field with real-time feedback to support responsible selling behaviors
Champion growth and career development; foster readiness, professionalism, compliance, and continuous learning
Collaborate with Sales and other corporate functions; manage/deploy resources and area expense budgets/ROI
Provide training and development for SAMs; drive demand aligned with long-term sales/profit objectives
Required

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA); Master’s preferred
10+ years in biopharma; 5+ years managing high-performing life science teams
Experience with reimbursement, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacies, IDNs, federal channels
4 days/week in the field; travel by car/air as required
Strong understanding of relevant laws/regulations and industry codes (e.g., PhRMA)
Strong leadership, coaching, recruiting, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to adapt to market conditions; drive continuous improvement; ethical conduct
Compensation

$184,000 - $245,000 base salary; eligible for annual short-term incentive and annual long-term incentive (equity).
