Sports Host (P/T - Temporary) - KHNL

Hawaii News Now is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Sports Host to support our expanding sports programming initiatives. This position will serve as on-air talent for live sports broadcasts and special programming, while supporting sports content development across broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide sideline reporting and commentary for assigned live sporting events
Host and contribute to sports-related special programming, features, and studio productions
Assist with content planning and development for sports streaming, digital, and social media initiatives
Support programming and content development efforts for Hawaii News Now's sports streaming platforms
Assist with student contributor and internship development efforts as assigned
Participate in other sports coverage as assigned
Assist with content development, planning, and production meetings as needed
Represent Hawaii News Now professionally at events and community appearances when requested
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Demonstrated understanding of digital, streaming, and social media content strategies preferred
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours based on event schedules
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
This is a temporary, part-time position with schedules driven by sports broadcasts, content development initiatives, and special programming needs.
