Job Responsibilities The Director of Planning & Analysis is responsible for the organization and reporting of all financial planning, projects, and analysis.
Planning and directing the organization's strategic and long‑range goals.
Conducting organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate financial effectiveness.
Managing company‑wide data requests efficiently and providing timely and accurate forecast and month‑end actual reports.
Implementing standardized reporting to increase accountability and improve process flow and output.
Providing accurate and timely analytics, reports, and insightful observations to managers and executives to increase cost‑management efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborating with functional leaders to standardize monthly financial reviews and establish a comprehensive forecasting and budgeting process, and providing decks and analyses as required.
Providing financial and analytical support to all projects, reports, and tracking to ensure committed synergies are implemented and realized.
Coordinating with stakeholders to identify process changes in financial planning, revenue and cost accounting, data requirements, and data capture for more useful business analysis and decision making.
Ensuring effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, counseling and other personnel matters are handled appropriately throughout the assigned departments.
Facilitating and ensuring that performance reviews of all employees within the department are completed on a yearly basis.
Performing other tasks as assigned.
Shared Services responsibilities at Resorts World New York City, Resorts World Catskills, and Resorts World Hudson Valley.
Essential Duties / Core Competencies Providing the executive team with up‑to‑date research on all financial analysis.
Developing financial strategies of operations in accordance with company objectives and regulatory agencies.
Working with the Finance Department, institutions, legal counsel, accountants, other professionals, and executive management.
Identifying and managing changes needed to support new financial plans.
Establishing meaningful reports and analytics that support the needs of internal executives and external shareholders.

Licensing and Regulatory Requirements Requires appropriate gaming license for all properties; must obtain and maintain a gaming level license in accordance with applicable statutes, rules, and regulations.
Education and Experience Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate gaming license.
Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience: three (3) years in a management position, or seven (7) years in a management position, or five (5) years in a management position within any Resorts World Property, or eight (8) years of related work experience.
Advanced knowledge of financial field practices and procedures.
Experience in union operations and contracts.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with staff and superiors.
Strong supervisory and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay Transparency $131,330 - 200,000
Physical Demands Regular requirement to talk or listen, stand, walk, sit, and use hands to manipulate objects. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, sit, climb, balance, stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lifting or maneuvering at least thirty (30) pounds, and prolonged sitting during the shift.
Language Skills Read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals. Respond to common inquiries from other team members or guests. Fluency in English required. Write detailed instructions and correspondence. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Decipher various reports and maintain reports upon request. Ability to analyze situations and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
Work Environment Noise level varies; on casino floor may be too loud. May be exposed to tobacco smoke. Must handle intoxicated guests professionally. Due to unpredictable nature of hospitality/entertainment industry, varying schedules may be required.
