Job Overview
We are currently seeking talented and detail‑oriented individuals for the Italian‑Speaking Social Media Content Moderators position in Greece. Based on‑site in Athens, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety, integrity, and positive culture of leading social media platforms used by millions of Italian‑speaking users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Review, assess, and moderate user‑generated content in Italian, ensuring full compliance with community guidelines and platform policies.

Identify and action harmful, misleading, abusive or policy‑violating content, including hate speech, misinformation, graphic material and spam.

Escalate complex or high‑priority cases to senior teams or specialised departments in a timely manner.

Maintain detailed records of moderation decisions and outcomes using internal content management systems.

Monitor emerging social media trends and potential platform risks within Italian‑speaking communities, flagging relevant patterns proactively.

Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance, Policy specialists) to uphold the highest content standards.

Participate in ongoing training and calibration meetings to stay aligned with evolving policies and best practices.

Contribute constructive feedback on policy gaps and moderation workflows to improve safety and user experience.

Requirements

Native or fluent Italian language skills (written and spoken) are essential.

Valid EU passport or EU citizenship.

A genuine interest in social media platforms and online community dynamics.

Strong analytical thinking, ethical judgement and the ability to make accurate decisions under pressure.

Excellent attention to detail and consistency in evaluating large volumes of content.

A professional, resilient mindset and ability to handle exposure to sensitive content.

Good working knowledge of English for internal communications.
