The Position:

This role requires creativity and a magnetic personality. The Podcast Writer and Interviewer is responsible for creating and building a podcast that connects workplace topics to Arbingers work. You will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of finding and interviewing personalities, writing and hosting episodes, curating content from interviews done by other Arbinger interviewers, and producing the podcast in a way that addresses the needs of business leaders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Regularly assess the impact of performance using Arbingers assessment tool 3A+.Concept Development responsible for creating the initial concept for the podcast. This includes determining the theme, format, and overall direction of the podcast.Direct the creative development of each episode by utilizing Arbingers interview librarywhich may contain interviews hosted by other team members as well as interviews hosted by this role.Research, script writing, and coordinating interviews.Create and curate content to generate a strong followership.Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure content alignment between the podcast episodes and marketing campaigns.Intentionally find and reach out to clients and others inside and outside our network to schedule interviews.

Strong interpersonal, oral communication, and active listening skills.Excellent writing and storytelling skills; ability to tailor content to our overall audience of business leaders while highlighting the nuance of the different industries we work in.Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding and appreciation for our customers.Boundless imagination with the ability to formulate and communicate original ideas.Level-headedness under pressure.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Comfortable with independent domestic and international travel assignments.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Calendly

Preferred Capabilities:

A strong sense of urgency and responsiveness with the ability to multitask.Project management capabilities.Ability to be strategic.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree preferred.1+ years of podcast experience or related professional experiences.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, domestically and internationally.Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.

Salary: Starting from $72,000 per year
