Role Summary
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you support the world‑class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations and upholding the highest health and safety standards. You work alongside the Studio Manager to achieve company and studio‑level goals, helping the studio grow through membership, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
Studio Presence & Student Experience
Act as an ambassador of CorePower Yoga Core Values, consistently inspiring them to others.
Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
Commit to a flexible schedule of 18–29 hours per week in‑studio for operations coordination and teaching (if certified).
Act as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present, up to 20 hours per week.
Maintain studio supply inventory (cleanliness, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials).
Serve as front‑desk ambassador, greeting students by name and fostering community.
Support teachers with POS and other pre/post class duties.
Health, Safety & Cleanliness Protocol
Uphold high cleanliness and functionality standards, ensuring a safe environment, optimal heat/humidity, inspiring music, and clutter‑free surroundings.
Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit.
Extend Studio Experience Team responsibilities: clean the studio, stock amenities, and follow CPY cleanliness protocol while on duty.
Assist in interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, disciplining, and terminating SET staff as needed.
Lead orientation for new SET members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
Studio Systems Coordination
Act as liaison between Studio Manager, teaching and SET teams for operational systems: POS, Online Reservation System, Subbing Application, HRIS, Help Desk.
Support training and usage of these systems for teaching and SET teams.
Teaching Schedule
Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 CorePower Yoga classes per week, and by subbing additional classes as needed.
Skills & Experience
Excellent oral communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in customer service.
Completion of a Yoga Alliance‑certified 200‑hour program (preferred).
Yoga Sculpt teacher training (preferred).
Comfortable with studio systems (HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling, payroll).
Ability to build relationships with diverse personalities and seniority levels.
Thrives in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizes under multiple deadlines.
Self‑starter with initiative.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Excellent time‑management and prioritization skills.
College degree (BA/BS) preferred.
The Fine Print
Availability must match business needs: morning, evening, weekend and occasional holiday flexibility.
Must move around the studio, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25lbs.
If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach with little to no notice.
Compensation
$21.25 per hour.
