Editor Needed for Short Film Crowdfunding Campaign
This is a Contracted position in the field of Post Production - Editing, Compositing, Motion Graphics, & Visual Effects , located in Los Angeles, CA .

The position pays $500.00 — $700.00 per job .

I’m seeking an experienced editor to create a polished crowdfunding media package for my upcoming narrative short film, Brother Hold Your Light. Deliverables include:

A cinematic proof‑of‑concept trailer (approximately 60–90 seconds)

A Seed&Spark campaign video featuring a director interview combined with footage from the proof‑of‑concept

A separate “Meet the Filmmaker” Q&A video introducing myself, my background, and the vision behind the project

The trailer and interview videos will be shot professionally with a Director of Photography in a controlled loft location. I’ll provide organized footage along with a clear editing blueprint, including the intended story structure, pacing, music direction, and notes for each deliverable.

I’m looking for someone who:

Has strong storytelling instincts and cinematic pacing

Can blend interview footage with narrative visuals seamlessly

Is comfortable collaborating and taking creative direction

Has experience with trailers, branded content, crowdfunding videos, or narrative film marketing

Estimated turnaround time

Your rate for editing this complete three‑deliverable package

Experience
Seeking an editor with strong cinematic storytelling and trailer editing experience.
