Shift Pattern
This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 3-week rotating 4-3-3 pattern of 12-hour days and nights (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00).

Key Duties

Carry out machine and equipment safety checks before start-up and complete the relevant documentation.

Support the Shift Manager in achieving team plans, including cleaning, improvement, training and labour plans.

Prepare equipment, tooling and raw materials required for job start-ups, tool changes and colour changes.

Operate and monitor production processes to ensure output, quality and efficiency targets are achieved.

Inspect, pack and identify products to ensure they meet specification requirements.

Provide cover during break periods and training sessions when required.

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and work in accordance with the 6S system.

Production Technician - Criteria

Engineering/Manufacturing background and strong mechanical aptitude (essential).

NVQ Level 2 in Engineering/similar (advantageous).

Experience within plastics manufacturing or a similar production environment (advantageous).

Knowledge of EBM, ISBM or IM processing (advantageous).

Polymer Processing certification preferred or competency gained through experience and/or internal training (advantageous).

Full Right to Work in the UK.
