Position Overview
Part‑time Promotions Assistant at CUMULUS MEDIA. The role is an entry‑level opportunity for individuals looking to launch a career in radio. Responsibilities include general office duties, interacting with listeners, and promoting our stations at community events.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, organizing, and executing promotional events and digital campaigns

Set‑up and break‑down of remote broadcasts and station events; troubleshoot and resolve issues on the fly

Represent stations at events in an upbeat, outgoing, and friendly manner

Data entry of promotional events and contest information

Create e‑blasts, social media posts, and website posts; review promotional information and graphics

Inventory and maintain prize closet, calendars, and event schedules for current and upcoming promotions

Assist the Promotions and Marketing Department with projects as needed in the office

Assist with vehicle inspections, fuel, and coordinating maintenance; drive station vehicles with attached trailer

Maintain and store station equipment

Qualifications

No experience necessary; customer service experience helpful

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Reliable with a flexible schedule; able to work at least 20 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

May require lifting or moving up to 50 pounds

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Outgoing, energetic, detail‑oriented, and responsible

Proficient using computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Multi‑tasking abilities

Event experience a plus

Works well with a variety of personalities

Passion and desire to perform at a high level in a competitive environment

Positive attitude, even in stressful situations, is a must

Desire and bravado to share innovative ideas with the team

Ability to ask for clarification when needed

Strong social media skills
