Stage Technician

Responsibilities

Set up and operate all technical equipment for live shows and events, including lighting, sound, and video systems

onboard the cruise ship

Collaborate with the production team to ensure all technical aspects of the show are executed according to plan

Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during rehearsals or performances

Maintain and repair equipment as needed to ensure smooth operation

Assist with the load-in and load-out of equipment at each port of call

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others

Keep detailed records of all technical equipment and supplies, and assist with inventory management

Train and supervise other crew members on the proper use and handling of technical equipment

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our shows and events

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Stage Technician in a live entertainment setting

Strong working knowledge of lighting, sound, and video equipment and systems

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and work schedule

Flexibility to travel and

work on a cruise ship

for extended periods of time

Technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred
