Job Description
We are seeking an energetic band and music director to lead the Middle School band for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will recruit, retain, and motivate students, collaborate closely with the High School Band Director, and be fully committed to the success of the DeWitt School District Band Program, particularly the Marching Dragon Band.
Responsibilities
Lead the MS band in all rehearsals and performances.
Recruit, retain, and motivate students to participate.
Collaborate with the High School Band Director and other music staff.
Work with the district to promote and support the Marching Dragon Band.
Qualifications
Valid teaching license in K‑12 Music.
Experience directing school band ensembles.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
