Student Theater Technical Assistant (LFHS Students)

Lake Forest Community High School is seeking a Lake Forest High School Student to work as a Student Theater Technical Assistant. This position reports to the Theater Director and pays $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Assistwith technology support during school-based events (i.e. lighting, sound, set-up, projection etc.)

Workwith the Theater Director to understand and prepare to fulfill the requests and needs associated with each event

Communicatewith the Theater Director regarding issues and/or concerns that occur during events

Check-in and out with the adult supervisor at each event

Submitrelevant paperwork associated with job responsibilities in a timely manner

Maintainsafe working environment for stakeholders, materials, equipment, and facilities

Applyworking knowledge of sound equipment and light equipment to the production of the show

Perform other duties as assigned by Theater Director

Qualifications

Understanding of audio and visual components

Ability to

Understand and follow basic oral and written instructions

Follow school regulations and policies in a professional manner

Maintain good working relationships with staff and community members

Communicate to supervisors and staff in an acceptable/courteous manner

Salary
$15.00 per hour
