Location & Hours: This is a full-time, on-site position located at our Maumelle, Arkansas Photo Studio. A high level of attendance is required as an essential function of this position. Dillard’s is seeking a Photo Stylist to work with our Photo Studio team and perform visual styling of merchandise for photography. The ideal candidate is a driven, goal-oriented professional with an impeccable work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond to execute the best work possible; must take direction and critique gracefully while working effectively with a diverse group of individuals. This role requires a broad and well-rounded view of the fashion industry in order to accurately style merchandise representative of multiple demographic groups.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Report to Studio Director

On-set styling of men’s, women’s and children’s on-figure shooting as well as product

Oversight and management of merchandise ensuring correct brand styling is maintained in all executed shoots

Must effectively operate under conditions of tight deadlines and high volumes of shots while producing quality work

Conduct competitive industry research, present seasonal information on trends and how these should be interpreted for Dillard’s

Understand the overall production flow and the need for timeliness and quality

Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and styling area

Complete other job-related duties as assigned to support the business

REQUIRED SKILLS

Background in retail, fashion, or e-commerce related field

Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Communications or related field

Strong communication and time management skills

A passion for fashion, retail, and the latest trends

Collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills to enable effective teamwork and issue resolution

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Suite applications

Adaptability to new systems and processes, with a willingness to learn and apply new skills as needed

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative completing tasks accurately and efficiently

Must be available on weekends as needed during peak production

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

1 Year

DESIRED SKILLS

On-set experience as a stylist or a styling assistant

Strong knowledge of accurate garment fit and the ability to manipulate fabric to achieve the correct fit using safety pins and clamps.
