Join us!POSITION SUMMARYStagehands assist the Operations department in the area of production with event related calls (take in, show, load out, work) while ensuring the production needs are met for the venue, client and patrons.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist during Work Calls for the venue conversionsAssist during Load-In, Show, and Load-Out Calls for the assembly and disassembly of show productions.Loading and unloading trucksAssembling production equipment on stageConstruction of set pieces, risers, musical equipmentSpotlight operation during shows for qualified personnelAssist with video, sound and light production before, during and after shows for qualified personnelMove furniture, road cases, miscellaneous equipmentMaintain a safe and professional work environment at all timesEnsure proper handling and storage of all equipment, from both venue and eventsBe punctual at start times/dates for all assigned and accepted calls; and work until the completion of each callStand ready to assist the venue Production and Operations departments to meet changing venue needsOther duties as assigned by ManagementSUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:No supervisory responsibilities assigned to this positionQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
