GIS Editor

Location: Near Austin, Texas. Salary Range: Competitive, based on experience.
We are seeking a skilled GIS Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geographic information systems, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy. You will play a critical role in editing and maintaining geographic data to support various projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools
Strong understanding of cartographic principles and spatial data analysis
Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Prior work experience at client or in client’s Industry
Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with remote sensing and image processing
Familiarity with database management and SQL
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Edit and update GIS datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with team members to support project needs
Generate maps and reports based on spatial data analysis
