Active Directory and Microsoft Entra Engineer

Summary
Seeking an experienced Active Directory and Microsoft Entra Engineer responsible for enhancing and expanding existing enterprise monitoring capabilities across Active Directory, Entra ID, and supporting identity services.

This role will leverage Grafana, SCOM, Azure Monitor, Microsoft monitoring platforms, and other enterprise observability tools to develop centralized dashboards providing visibility into identity infrastructure performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Enhance and augment monitoring capabilities across SCOM, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Entra monitoring, and other platforms

Design, develop, and maintain Grafana dashboards for Active Directory, Entra ID, and authentication services

Integrate operational and performance data from domain controllers, Entra services, Azure services, APIs, and monitoring tools into a centralized observability platform

Develop health, capacity, utilization, and service-level dashboards across identity systems

Identify monitoring gaps and implement telemetry, metrics, reporting, and visualization improvements

Create automation and reporting solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph APIs

Partner with operations, engineering, cybersecurity, and support teams to standardize monitoring practices

Produce executive and operational reporting including trend analysis, capacity planning, and utilization metrics

Job Type & Location
Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $67.00 - $75.00/hr.
