Position: Student Assistant – Clerical & Admin in Graphic Design within GatorWell Health Promotion Services, Gainesville, FL. Employment through Student Other Personnel Services, part‑time up to 20 hours/week. Pay: $14/hour. No tuition waiver or benefits.

Job Description
GatorWell Health Promotion Services seeks a graphic design student assistant to support social marketing and health communication initiatives campus‑wide.

Ideate, pitch, and create unique professional designs for print, t-shirts, web graphics, promotional materials, signage, etc.

Assist in planning, developing and executing marketing plans that meet university and division brand standards.

Visually support social marketing and health communication campaigns promoting student well‑being.

Provide proof‑reading and design consistency checks for spelling, grammar, and clarity.

Prepare and package artwork files for professional printing (color profiles, bleed, final formats).

Maintain the organization of GatorWell’s design database.

Build and maintain professional relationships with internal clients, co-workers, and vendors in an agency‑style environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Current UF student (undergraduate or graduate).

Minimum GPA 2.0 and enrolled in at least six credit hours a semester.

Available to start Fall 2026 and commit to Fall 2026–Spring 2027.

Must be able to work within the GatorWell office in Reitz Union.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).

Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).

Must attend student marketing team meetings and the GatorWell New Student Staff Training and onboarding.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Canva.

Solid photography and editing skills with a consistent voice and tone.

Critical thinking, eye for detail and accuracy.

Creative, strategic, and collaborative mindset.

Interest in health and well‑being.

Interest in educating and helping peers.

Outgoingness and ability to connect with others.

Team‑work skills.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with multiple deadlines.

Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Interest in building positive relationships that enhance the UF community.

Knowledge of brand guidelines and asset management.

Ability to produce clear, compelling copy.

Benefits and Compensation
