Content Creator Volunteer (Remote)
Take Trips MES is seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator to develop engaging, mission-driven content that promotes our programs, community impact, and organizational initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about storytelling, social media, and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and publish engaging content across social media platforms, including Instagram, Fanbase, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
Develop multimedia content such as graphics, short-form videos, reels, and promotional materials
Assist with content planning, scheduling, and content calendar management
Write compelling captions, blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials
Research trends, hashtags, and audience insights to optimize content performance and engagement
Monitor content performance (views, reach, engagement) and provide basic analytics reports
Collaborate with team members to highlight events, programs, and community success stories
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and organizational mission
Qualifications:
Experience creating content for social media platforms (personal, academic, or professional)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
Ability to create and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Social media management and content strategy experience
Content planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)
Video editing and basic motion graphics
Copywriting and storytelling skills
Photography or graphic design experience
Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking tools
