Senior Marketing Specialist, Graphic Design & Storytelling
Kensho Technologies, a division of S&P Global, is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist, Design & Storytelling to join our Marketing and Communications team.
This is a highly collaborative role that sits at the intersection of design, narrative, and brand strategy. It is not a traditional graphic design role; you will partner closely with product leaders, researchers, engineers, and executives to translate complex AI capabilities into compelling, accessible stories, taking full ownership of projects end‑to‑end.
Kensho states that the anticipated base salary range for the position is $130,000–$170,000, plus an annual incentive bonus.
What You’ll Do
Own the visual expression of Kensho’s brand, reinforcing our positioning and credibility across channels.
Manage and uphold Kensho’s brand guidelines, ensuring consistent and effective visual expression of the brand.
Develop and produce a wide range of brand and marketing assets, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, infographics, social and digital content, and more.
Partner with the Head of Marketing & Communications to support and strengthen Kensho’s brand storytelling.
Develop presentations, including executive-level PowerPoint decks, sales enablement materials, and product marketing collateral, shaping flow, emphasis, and clarity, as well as design.
Collaborate with product, engineering, research, and leadership teams to translate complex AI and technical concepts into clear, engaging visual stories.
Co‑own our social media strategy and execution.
Co‑own Kensho’s website experience, managing content and design updates, and partnering cross‑functionally on site enhancements as needed.
Proactively identify opportunities to elevate Kensho’s storytelling through design, sharing fresh ideas, recommendations, and creative solutions.
Contribute as a writer across marketing and communications efforts, including presentation copy, website content, and social media posts as needed.
Collaborate with S&P Global partners to ensure alignment while maintaining Kensho’s distinct voice and visual identity.
What You’ll Need
8‑10+ years of experience in marketing, brand, design, communications, or a creative agency environment, with clear progression in scope and responsibility.
A strong portfolio demonstrating visual excellence paired with narrative thinking, including executive-level presentations and brand storytelling.
Proven ability to translate complex, technical, or AI-driven concepts into clear, credible, and compelling visual and written communications.
Strong writing and editing skills, with experience contributing copy across presentations, websites, and social media.
Experience creating compelling visual assets and content, from custom-designed graphics and presentations to multimedia content.
Proficiency with modern design and storytelling tools, including PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Figma, with sound judgment about when and how to use each.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to partner closely with senior leaders, technical stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑moving environment.
Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset, including comfort experimenting with AI-powered tools and learning new technologies and domains.
Experience in tech strongly preferred; you are not intimidated by technical subject matter.
Proficiency with modern, and user-friendly content management systems like Squarespace.
How to Really Get Our Attention
Experience working directly with C-level executives or senior leadership, particularly on high‑stakes presentations or communications.
A demonstrated interest in or hands‑on experience with AI, machine learning, or emerging technology trends, and a willingness to stay current as the space evolves.
Examples of work where you acted as a creative or narrative partner, not just a design executor.
