An incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated publicist to join our team as a junior staffer and grow within the company.

The right candidate will be a strong writer with a track record of securing press coverage. We work with a variety of clients that include everything from rising and established musicians to start-ups, lifestyle brands, non‑profits and more. The position will offer exposure to various aspects of account work such as drafting media materials, building media relationships, brainstorming pitch angles and securing coverage in national press campaigns.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills are crucial, as is deep knowledge of and passion for pop culture. Social media and design know‑how are a BIG plus. Creativity, teamwork and dedication must define your work style.

QUALIFICATIONS

1‑2 yrs. experience in PR – entertainment, technology, consumer brands preferred

Superior written and verbal skills

Organization and enjoyment of multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure work environment

Interest in participating in a wide variety of PR campaigns (music, charities, lifestyle brands, products, etc)

Attention to detail in everything you do

Content Manager
Ideal candidate is passionate about the fast moving space, wants to innovate and is excited to help establish a new team focused on content and social media marketing; is strategic and forward thinking but also agile and goal‑oriented.

Managing all blog content.

Get blog posts from writers, you will be given a budget and will have to come up with blog post titles for people to write the articles.

Publish content.

Accept, edit and decline all comments.

Manage Q & A section.

Be able to interview people over email for blog posts.

The main skills you need are to be good with people and know your way round create and publishing blog posts on WordPress.

QUALIFICATIONS

1‑2 yrs. experience in PR – entertainment, technology, consumer brands preferred

Flexibility to handle fast‑paced, stressful situations, and deadline pressures.

Drafting/ publishing of blog posts, adding images and all the other necessary things and publish the article in timely manner.

Superior written and verbal skills

Proven communication and management skills with ability to manage and support direct reports, leadership, or peers.

Strong understanding of online marketing and paid social media marketing.

High level of initiative and ability to work well collaboratively and independently, with minimal supervision.

Passion for content and social media marketing; consumer and cultural trends.

Organization and enjoyment of multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure work environment

Interest in participating in a wide variety of PR campaigns (music, charities, lifestyle brands, products, etc)

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other web design software a plus.
