Our Brand, Marketing & External Communications (BMEC) team plays a critical role in shaping our reputation, strengthening customer relationships, and accelerating business growth through integrated communications and marketing strategies.

As an Industrial Products Marketing Communications Advisor, you will be responsible for shaping and activating the brand, communications, and marketing engine that drives growth for the Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) Industrial Products business. You will blend product marketing, demand generation, external communications, brand stewardship, and strategic planning to accelerate pipeline growth, enhance market positioning, and strengthen commercial readiness across a diverse portfolio of industrial and energy solutions.

You will translate complex technologies into compelling customer value propositions, collaborate with global stakeholders and Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and deliver integrated campaigns that drive measurable business and reputational outcomes.

Responsibilities

Partnering with Industrial Products business leadership, Strategy, Sales, and Technology teams to align marketing and communications strategies with business growth priorities.

Providing strategic marketing and communications counsel to business leaders using audience-driven insights and industry best practices.

Supporting campaign prioritization, pipeline target setting, and marketing resource allocation in collaboration with Centers of Excellence.

Translating business priorities into integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns, including account‑based marketing, nurture campaigns, digital marketing, paid media, webinars, and events.

Leading go‑to‑market planning for product and solution launches in partnership with marketing and communications teams.

Developing differentiated value propositions, messaging frameworks, and competitive positioning across the Industrial Products portfolio.

Building buyer personas and customer journey strategies in collaboration with Product Management, Technology, and Commercial Marketing teams.

Developing campaign briefs and coordinating execution with global, regional, and Center of Excellence teams.

Ensuring consistency between campaign messaging, business priorities, and enterprise brand narratives.

Partnering with internal teams to drive testing, optimization, and data‑driven performance improvements across marketing activities.

Defining and activating external narratives that align with enterprise brand strategy.

Supporting public relations activities by providing content, business insights, customer stories, and thought leadership opportunities.

Developing proactive earned and owned media story pipelines, including technology milestones, customer success stories, partnerships, and sustainability initiatives.

Supporting the creation of case studies, customer references, executive visibility programs, and thought leadership content.

Assisting with business‑specific issues and crisis communications when required.

Establishing campaign and communications KPIs, including pipeline performance, engagement, share of voice, sentiment, and media impact.

Leveraging analytics and reporting tools to evaluate campaign effectiveness, return on investment, and pipeline contribution.

Analyzing content performance, launch effectiveness, message adoption, and sales enablement impact to improve future activities.

Providing recommendations to strengthen value propositions, go‑to‑market strategies, and communications effectiveness.

Ensuring consistency of brand identity, messaging, and tone across all campaign, media, content, and sales enablement materials.

Maintaining governance processes for content creation, creative reviews, editorial planning, and brand compliance.

Qualifications

Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Have 7+ years of business‑to‑business (B2B) marketing experience within an industrial, technical, engineering, or technology‑focused environment.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of industrial and energy markets and technologies.

Have knowledge of B2B value chains, customer decision drivers, and demand generation strategies.

Possess experience managing integrated marketing programs and campaigns across multiple channels.

Demonstrate proficiency with marketing technologies, digital marketing platforms, and data analytics tools.

Have strong storytelling, content development, and communication skills.

Be able to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive alignment across complex organizations.

Show adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic business environment.
