The contractor shall provide a full-time Photographer II tasked with end-to-end execution of professional photographic and videographic operations. The Photographer is responsible for capturing, editing, labeling, and producing high-quality photographic and video content in support of strategic communications, technical reporting, and command branding initiatives. The contractor will provide raw imagery and technical metadata; the Government will provide all narratives and messaging.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Capture high-resolution photographs and/or video footage of engineering tests, events, or field operations as required.

Perform post-production editing, caption-writing, and formatting of raw media files into final deliverables.

Catalog, metadata-tag, and archive digital media files into the designated EXWC repository for organized retrieval (weekly).

Set up, operate, and maintain photographic, video, and lighting equipment; ensure all gear is fully functional and securely stored.

Deliver print-ready or digital-ready files in required formats following Public Affairs Officer approval.

TASKS

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Required

Demonstrated experience in professional photography and/or videography.

Proficiency in post-production editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or equivalent).

Ability to apply proper metadata tagging and digital asset management practices.

Experience operating professional-grade cameras, lighting, and video equipment.

Ability to deliver files in multiple formats (JPEG, RAW, TIFF, MP4, etc.) to client specifications.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

Experience supporting DoD, government, or military command communications.

Familiarity with Public Affairs Office (PAO) review and approval workflows.

Experience with digital asset repositories or content management systems.

Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance or base access credentials.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in support of engineering tests, command events, and field operations. The Photographer may be required to carry and set up heavy equipment, work in variable weather conditions, and adapt to dynamic operational environments. Schedule is event-driven and subject to change based on mission requirements.
