Your role in our mission

Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads complex technical data for manuals, procedures, and specifications, simplifying technical content for client use.

Assists in establishing style guidelines and standards for text and illustrations to meet business needs.

Interviews programmers, engineers, developers, and other technical personnel; reads documentation and design notes to gather and research technical information for use in documentation.

Writes, organizes, and compiles online help files to support end users.

Creates, compiles, and delivers system/software developmental documentation packages, including narratives, logic diagrams, input/output samples, and configuration control documents, using project‑team inputs and system analysis.

Assists in creating documentation project plans.

Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.

What we're looking for
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, technical writing, or a related field preferred.

Three or more years of technical writing experience.

Experience with desktop publishing, word processing, and online documentation software.

Experience with industry writing style guidelines, grammar, and sentence structure.

Experience working with company software products.

Other Qualifications

Proficiency with personal computer and business software.

Strong proofreading and editing skills.

Ability to translate technical knowledge into clear, accessible terms.

Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

What you should expect in this role

Remote-based opportunity within the United States.

Occasional travel required (0–10%).

Video cameras required during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $49,500.00 – $70,700.00 per year; base pay may vary based on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
