Middle/Elementary Choir Director

Professional licensure and an employee of the Harrison County Board of Education. Immediate supervisor: Principal. The position is filled by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools. Salary: Per Harrison County Board of Education extra-curricular assignment schedule. Functions and duties include: scheduling and conducting all rehearsals, providing refinement of choral technique and expanded repertoire through developing at least one small ensemble, performing publicly outside of school environment, providing choral music for graduation ceremonies, maintaining records, reports, and inventories as may be required, accepting advice and suggestions in constructive manner, submitting requisitions for the purchase of choral music to proper authority with designated budge and designated deadline, and attending at least one music in-service, workshop or conference outside of school time during the academic year.
