Job Responsibilities
Assists with preparing the Annual Sales Plan and Budgets
Develops, implements, maximizes, monitors and evaluates objectives, business strategies and activities of the Sales Department to exceed forecasted revenue figures in all hotel-related revenue streams
Manages Sales Division expenses in line with the annual budget
Participates in trade shows and promotional events to develop new markets, by identifying prospective customers
Responsible to control all key account annual contract processing, based on rate negotiation (to support the annual rate growth) – negotiates with decision makers/confirm with General Manager and/or Director, Sales & Marketing – based on volume (hotel’s top productive accounts)
Monitors daily reservations pick-up patterns to maximize occupancy and revenue increase yields
Reviews and monitors company accounts room nightly production reports, to ensure that all sales objectives related to monthly revenue budgets, are achieved
Conducts Sales meetings with the team, as well as lead the monthly Strategy meeting, including forecast management
Adheres to the brand’s overall vision and hotel policies and procedures
Develops an organized, motivated and cohesive Sales team through strong leadership
Drives the Sales effectiveness of the hotel and Sales Team
Monitors weekly sales activities to ensure individual sales calls objectives are achieved
Provides ongoing direction and implements training programs for the team
Work in harmony and synergy with all Senior Executives in the hotel and Corporate Headquarter team

Expert understanding of and well-developed skills in sales, partnerships, and business development, including identifying leads, building relationships, storytelling, negotiating, closing, and account management
Proven track record of building new business relationships and signing significant deals
Comfortable and capable with both developing and executing strategy with the team
Creative, flexible and solution-oriented
Results-driven, with an ability to execute independently
Natural leader who inspires and motivates the entire team
Comfortable presenting to Senior Leadership with interpersonal communication skills
Experience with luxury or global brand is an advantage
Analytical, proactive and innovative mind
Detail-oriented and highly reliable in thorough execution and follow-through
High integrity and ability to keep confidentiality
Previous Sales leadership experience required
Must have experience working for luxury hotel brands
Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) software and other automated systems, and PCs
