The Society for the Humanities at Cornell University invites applications for residential fellowships for scholars and artists whose projects reflect on the 2027-28 theme of PLAY. Up to six fellows will be appointed. The fellowship is one year (August–July).
Each Fellow receives $68,000. Fellows are expected to spend their time on research and writing, participate in weekly Fellows Seminars, and teach one small seminar for graduate students and advanced undergraduates.
