Role Overview
Capstone Races is looking for a driven, part-time Marketing Coordinator to join our small, passionate team. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to help bring our events and brand to life across social media, email, and beyond. This is a hands‑on role where your work will be seen by real audiences from day one.
Hours: Roughly 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility to grow based on your availability and interest.
Location: Primarily remote, with one in‑office day per week in North Hills, Raleigh, NC.
Commitment: ASAP – ongoing (based on performance). School credit arrangements available.
Reports to: Marketing Manager
What You’ll Do
Design promotional assets using Canva or your design tool of choice
Write copy for emails and social media posts that reflect our brand voice
Schedule and manage social media posts and email campaigns
Stay current on social media trends and bring fresh ideas to the table
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on campaign strategy and content planning
Optional: Attend race weekends as on‑site marketing support (photography, filming, activations)
What We’re Looking For

Organized and detail‑oriented — you keep things moving and nothing falls through the cracks
A creative problem solver who figures things out and owns their work
Passionate about community, social media, and the running/endurance world
Basic experience with Canva, social media scheduling tools, or email platforms is a plus
A team player who’s excited to grow with a small, mission‑driven organization
Compensation
$16–$25 per hour, depending on experience. School credit arrangements are available for students who need it.
