Job Description As the Amazon Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of established and sophisticated accounts and developing partnerships in a highly collaborative team environment.
You will wear multiple hats, but your core responsibilities will center on creation and implementation of brand growth strategy, analyzing trends and reports, Product Detail Page optimizations, Pay‑Per‑Click advertising, Display advertising, and operations pertaining to the Amazon channel of business.
The position will promote our brands and products on Amazon by using "Enhanced Branded Content", A+ pages and brand stores. Duties also include adding new items, optimizing listing bullet points, improving product description and keyword SEO, and overseeing and reporting fraudulent sellers and ASINs.
Responsibilities Optimizing advertising on Amazon such as Amazon Sponsored Product Ads, Sponsored Brand Ads, Display Ads
Managing Amazon relationships and maintaining strong communication among internal functions
Unlocking operational components that drive the Amazon business
Coordinating with cross‑functional teams to execute overall strategy
Continuously learning what is working on Amazon, the competitive landscape, and new features
Actively leading team discussions, encouraging participation and knowledge sharing among team members
Analyzing P&L on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Creating demand‑based inventory forecasts and issuing replenishment orders for each product listing using sales history, rate of sales, advertising knowledge, seasonality, and current sales trends
Managing Amazon internal advertising and adjusting advertising budgets per product to drive sales; managing the ratio of costs to profits and optimizing ad spend
Analyzing SKU‑level data by tracking product trends, new product performance, and top sellers
Creating shipping plans based on history, forecasts, and Seller Central guidelines/restrictions
Monitoring shipment and fulfillment fees and opening/manage reimbursement cases for lost shipments and incorrect fees
Researching and resolving issues related to timely purchase orders, shipments, and sales
Monitoring performance and feedback on each listing; investigating claims of customer feedback
Staying up to date on changes and restrictions of Amazon policy and modifying listing content and shipping plans accordingly
Collaborating with the owner to create monthly profit/sales strategies
Identifying areas of liability as well as areas for growth and improvement
Qualifications Successfully managed a multi‑million‑dollar FBA/FBM account with 3‑5 years’ experience
Experience in beauty, personal care, and/or luxury CPG products preferred
Bachelor’s Degree
Superior analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Experience with Pay‑Per‑Click advertising; Amazon PPC is preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
Results‑oriented and self‑motivated
Proficient in MS Office and/or Google Suite
Proficient in Data Analytics
Benefits and Compensation The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
