Role Overview:
The Director of Brand Marketing will lead the development and execution of integrated brand marketing strategies that increase awareness, drive demand, and build long‑term brand equity. This individual will partner across Creative, Digital, PR, Retail, Product, and other cross‑functional teams to translate business objectives into impactful campaigns while ensuring operational excellence and alignment across marketing initiatives. The role requires a strategic leader who can balance high‑level planning with hands‑on execution and team leadership.
Brand Marketing Director Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead integrated brand marketing strategies that support business growth and strengthen brand equity.
- Translate business objectives into omnichannel marketing plans across retail, eCommerce, CRM, social media, PR, wholesale, and other key channels.
- Drive brand awareness through compelling storytelling, partnerships, events, activations, and community‑building initiatives.
- Partner with Creative, Digital, PR, Product, and Retail teams to deliver cohesive marketing campaigns across all consumer touchpoints.
- Build and manage the marketing calendar, aligning product launches, campaigns, and channel priorities.
- Lead cross‑functional planning to ensure seamless execution and organizational alignment.
- Establish scalable marketing processes, workflows, and planning systems to improve efficiency and accountability.
- Evaluate new opportunities for brand growth, consumer engagement, and cultural relevance.
- Manage, mentor, and develop members of the Brand Marketing team while fostering collaboration and strategic thinking.
- Define priorities, ownership, and performance expectations to ensure successful delivery of marketing initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies to drive measurable brand and business results.
Brand Marketing Director Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within fashion, luxury, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
- Proven success developing integrated marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, consumer demand, and business growth.
- Strong understanding of brand storytelling, cultural marketing, partnerships, PR, experiential marketing, and community engagement.
- Experience building omnichannel marketing strategies across retail, eCommerce, CRM, social, PR, and wholesale channels.
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and executional levels.
- Strong cross‑functional leadership experience working with Creative, Product, Digital, Retail, and PR teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience creating scalable marketing processes, planning frameworks, and operational systems.
- Demonstrated success leading, mentoring, and developing high‑performing marketing teams.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and evolving brand strategy.
