Turkish-Speaking Social Media Content Moderator – 24/7 Operations (Lisbon)

In this role, you will work behind the scenes for one of the world's most popular digital platforms, keeping online spaces safe, positive, and secure.

The Role

Content Review: Monitor, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content (videos, images, text, and audio) in Turkish to ensure strict alignment with the platform's community guidelines and policies.

Risk Identification: Detect and quickly flag inappropriate, fraudulent, harmful, or policy-violating material, ensuring swift action is taken.

Objective Decision-Making: Make independent, accurate choices regarding content removals or account escalations based on established global guidelines.

Data Privacy: Handle sensitive information and user reports with the highest level of confidentiality and digital security.

Working Model & Location

Location: Lisbon, Portugal.

Work Model: Full-time, 100% on-site role based in a state-of-the-art, high-tech corporate office.

Shift Pattern: 24/7 Rotational Shifts . Because social media never sleeps, candidates must be fully flexible to work a rotating schedule that includes day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts to ensure around-the-clock global safety.

Requirements

Native or Near-Native Turkish: Flawless verbal and written communication skills with an understanding of local cultural nuances and internet slang.

English Proficiency: B2 level or higher to smoothly navigate training modules and communicate with a global team.

Legal Status: Must hold an EU Passport or a valid Work Permit for Portugal .

Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a high level of objectivity.

Resilience: Emotional maturity and the ability to process a high volume of digital media with a professional, level-headed mindset.
