Website Design Blueprint and User Experience Strategy (Wix)
We seek a web designer to create structure and design options for our nonprofit website on the Wix platform. The volunteer will assess our goals, key audiences, and technical capabilities, and produce a draft of architecture and design concepts that can be shared with a web developer or team member to build the new site.

Project Overview
The project will take place over multiple meetings within a 6‑to‑9‑week period. In the initial meeting the volunteer will interview our team about desired features, web capabilities, and technical expertise. The volunteer will then synthesize the information into a requirements briefing.

Responsibilities

Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements.

Synthesize information into a requirements briefing.

Audit the current website and develop a draft site architecture.

Create design options including wireframes, site structure, and visual elements.

Provide deliverables that serve as a guide for a developer or team member.

Participate in check‑ins to receive feedback and iterate on the design.

Recommend improvements to load times, navigation, and overall usability to enhance user experience.

Deliverables
A comprehensive guide containing site architecture, design concepts, wireframes, and visual elements that can be used by a developer or internal team to build the new website.
