About Opal AI
Opal AI is building Physical AI products that help cities, transportation agencies, emergency response teams, and infrastructure organizations understand the real world through AI, computer vision, geospatial intelligence, and automation.

Our products support public-sector use cases such as complete streets planning, transportation safety, infrastructure intelligence, wildfire situational awareness, and smarter city operations. We help government and enterprise teams turn complex physical-world data into clear, actionable insights.

About The Role
Opal AI is looking for a motivated Product Marketing Manager to help lead our government and public‑sector go‑to‑market efforts.

This role is ideal for someone interested in AI, GovTech, smart cities, transportation, climate resilience, public‑sector marketing, content creation, brand management, business development, and B2B technology. You will help define how Opal AI communicates its value to government agencies, state and local decision‑makers, transportation departments, urban planners, emergency management teams, and enterprise partners.

You will work closely with the founding team to research markets, define buyer personas, create marketing materials, generate video and social content, manage brand voice, run outreach campaigns, and translate technical AI capabilities into clear messaging for public‑sector audiences.

What You’ll Do

Own product positioning and messaging for Opal AI’s Physical AI products, including Urbonamy for complete streets and FireVision for wildfire situational awareness.

Research government, state, local, transportation, infrastructure, emergency management, and smart city markets.

Identify target agencies, buyer personas, public‑sector use cases, procurement patterns, and potential partners.

Create product marketing materials such as one‑pagers, capability statements, pitch decks, website copy, case studies, product briefs, email campaigns, LinkedIn posts, X posts, and short‑form content.

Lead content creation across blogs, social media, product updates, newsletters, thought leadership, customer stories, and campaign assets.

Create and edit video content, including product explainers, demo clips, founder‑led videos, event recaps, social videos, and AI‑generated video assets.

Manage Opal AI’s brand voice and visual consistency across the website, sales materials, social channels, presentations, and public‑sector campaigns.

Build and maintain a regular content calendar for LinkedIn, X, blog posts, email campaigns, and product announcements.

Translate complex AI, computer vision, and geospatial technology into clear value propositions for government and enterprise buyers.

Build and execute go‑to‑market campaigns for cities, departments of transportation, planning agencies, public works teams, emergency response organizations, and infrastructure groups.

Research competitors, industry trends, funding programs, procurement opportunities, and public‑sector technology initiatives.

Support conference, webinar, trade show, and stakeholder outreach planning.

Track customer feedback, campaign performance, market research, and sales enablement materials.

Work directly with the CEO and founding team in a fast‑moving startup environment.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in product marketing, marketing, business development, communications, public policy, urban planning, entrepreneurship, product management, or a related field.

Strong writing, research, and communication skills.

Interest in AI, GovTech, smart cities, transportation, climate resilience, public safety, infrastructure, or emerging technology.

Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to non‑technical audiences.

Comfortable researching government agencies, public‑sector buyers, competitors, and market opportunities.

Experience creating content for LinkedIn, X, blogs, email campaigns, websites, video, or other digital channels.

Strong sense of brand voice, storytelling, visual presentation, and audience‑specific messaging.

Comfortable using or learning content and video tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Descript, Runway, Synthesia, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.

Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a startup environment.

Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn, Google Workspace, Notion, Canva, Figma, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms is a plus.

Bonus: experience with government, public policy, urban planning, transportation, proposal writing, RFPs, grant programs, or B2B marketing.

What You’ll Gain

A high‑impact role marketing AI products to government, state, local, and enterprise customers.

Ownership across public‑sector go‑to‑market strategy, customer discovery, product positioning, and sales enablement.

The opportunity to create core marketing assets such as capability statements, case studies, product briefs, campaign content, blog posts, social media content, videos, and market research.

Direct collaboration with Opal AI’s founding team.

A visible role at the intersection of AI, infrastructure, mobility, climate resilience, and public‑sector innovation.

The opportunity to shape how a fast‑growing AI company communicates its value to cities, agencies, and infrastructure leaders.
