To support the DNC's research efforts, the full-time Video Research Associate will identify and catalog video assets, analyze media trends, and compile clips for reports, working remotely with occasional late-night hours required.
Key Responsibilities:
Record, clip, and catalog media segments for rapid response and long-term research projects
Research and analyze trends in local and national news and raw video content
Compile video or audio-based clips for media coverage reports
Required Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of current events related to Congress, the White House, and upcoming campaign cycles
Basic understanding of video files and formats, with the ability to learn new tech-based databases quickly
Experience with media monitoring services and clipping tools preferred, including LexisNexis and SnapStream
Ability to work independently and maintain open communication in a fast-paced environment
