Role Overview
Juice Media is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Media Buyer to join our Media Activation team. This role owns the planning, buying, negotiation, and optimization of cross-channel campaigns across Linear TV, Streaming/CTV, Audio, and OOH. The ideal candidate has a strong media buying foundation, understands both brand and performance-driven objectives, and is confident managing large-scale accounts from strategy through performance in a fast-paced agency environment. This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $90,000–$120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Local candidates only.
Responsibilities
Cross-Channel Planning & Buying:
Plan, buy, negotiate, and optimize across Linear TV, Streaming/CTV, Audio (Broadcast, Streaming, Podcast), and OOH/DOOH; build and manage media plans, flowcharts, budgets, pacing documents, and stewardship trackers; negotiate pricing, added value, sponsorships, and custom opportunities with vendors and media partners.
Campaign Stewardship & Optimization:
Monitor delivery, pacing, and performance against client KPIs; analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities and testing strategies; troubleshoot delivery issues and reporting discrepancies; stay current on marketplace trends and emerging advertising opportunities.
Client & Vendor Collaboration:
Partner with Client Services, Analytics, and Leadership to ensure seamless execution; present media recommendations and performance updates internally and externally; build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, reps, and platform partners.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and support junior team members across planning, buying, and stewardship; contribute to workflow improvements, process efficiencies, and training initiatives.
Qualifications
8+ years of media buying/planning experience within an agency or media environment
Strong experience across Linear TV, Streaming/CTV, Audio, and OOH
Experience managing both performance-focused and brand-focused campaigns across national and local markets
Strong understanding of media metrics including CPMs, CPPs, GRPs, reach/frequency, and audience-based buying
Familiarity with CORE, Nielsen, Tableau, MRI, DSPs, and competitive research tools
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred but not required
