Job Summary
Paid Avanza Internship Fall 2026, Aug. 31 – Dec. 11, 2026. Avanza 88.3 KUUB is Utah’s bilingual public radio station and a source of music, culture, and community affairs programming in both English and Spanish. It is an NPR affiliate and sister station to KUER 90.1.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work 12–16 hours per week supporting Avanza 88.3 KUUB’s music programming, radio production, and digital content initiatives through audio production, music library organization, social media content creation, and other multimedia projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Excellent writing and research skills, as well as a demonstrated interest and familiarity with Utah news.

Preferences

The ideal applicant will have some print or audio reporting experience and basic audio editing skills.

Familiarity with creating vertical video content.

Interest in music programming, radio production, and public media.

Experience with social media content creation, photography, videography, graphic design, or Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

Ability to learn broadcast software and work with music scheduling and library management systems.

Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.
