Internship Design Showroom Assistant
Part Time, Full Time, or Seasonal

Riverhead Building Supply is a leading building materials company with over 800 team members across Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. We are looking for an enthusiastic Internship Design Showroom Assistant to join our team and grow with us.

Expected salary range: $18.00–$21.00 per hour (as required by RI transparency). Compensation will be based on experience and other factors allowed by law.

What You'll Do

Assist customers in exploring products and design solutions

Support showroom operations and displays

Learn about cabinetry, kitchens, baths, and home design trends

Help create an exceptional customer experience

Work alongside experienced team members who will mentor and guide you

What We're Looking For

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; 20/20 Design or CAD experience is a plus

A customer‑focused mindset and professional demeanor

Someone who is proactive, dependable, and enjoys problem‑solving

Interest in design, construction, or building a long‑term career with RBS
