Position Summary
The 2nd Shift Supervisor oversees production functions for 8–10 employees on the fabrication floor, managing day‑to‑day supervision and employee development.

Shift
2:00 p – 12:30 p, Monday – Thursday and every other Sunday.

Job Duties

Day‑to‑day supervision, engagement, and development of department employees (coaching, training, etc.)

Model a “Lead by Example” approach by exhibiting excellent work ethic and efficiency strategies while working side by side with direct reports in the fabrication area

Review, monitor, and follow‑up on area results, managing department costs to remain within budget guidelines

Maintain customer relations by ensuring product quality specifications are met

Process optimization

Manage and ensure compliance and improvement in safety

Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as necessary

Qualifications – Minimum Required

Fabrication or a similar function: 3 years’ experience

Supervision/Lead: 2 years’ experience

Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills

Capability to function effectively as a member of a highly motivated management team

Effective communication skills

Working knowledge of fabrication blueprints

Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Basic mathematical skills
