Position Summary
Lecturer of Recording Arts (Undergraduate) – teaching 100% of the course load. Assignments are semester‑by‑semester and may vary.

Responsibilities
You will teach one or two classes per semester (3–6 credit hours). Instruction includes:

Basics of Audio Production

Advanced Audio Production

Mixing Techniques

Mastering Techniques

Critical Listening

Pro‑Tools Lab

Digital Audio Workstation Techniques

Live sound

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS/BM in Music or related field; or evidence of relevant experience (engineering, mixing, mastering, studio or live sound work, touring, recording published material, and at least two years teaching at a college).

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Music or related field.

Experience teaching music at the college level.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Ability to create a respectful, positive learning environment.

Problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities.

Mentoring experience with students in music or related disciplines.
