This role is hybrid, expecting an average of two days per week at an HPE office. It requires a highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive Field Marketing Specialist to support the North America Sales and Marketing organization. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and project coordinator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
About the Role
The Field Marketing Specialist serves as a key member of the North America Field Marketing team, supporting internal and customer communications, cross‑segment marketing initiatives, sales enablement programs, lead management, events, and operational processes that drive business impact across Enterprise, SLED, Commercial, Global Major Accounts, Federal, and Partner segments.
Key Responsibilities
Internal & Customer Communications
Develop and execute internal communications and newsletters to keep sales, marketing, and leadership teams informed of key programs, events, and initiatives.
Create customer‑facing invitations, email campaigns, event communications, and follow‑up messaging.
Support executive communications and presentation development for internal and external audiences.
Ensure consistency of messaging, branding, and communications across North America marketing programs.
Develop field‑ready assets and toolkits to enable Sales teams before, during, and after events.
Cross‑Segment Program Management
Coordinate and manage strategic North America marketing programs that span multiple sales segments and teams.
Drive project timelines, stakeholder communications, and deliverables across field marketing initiatives.
Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration between Sales, Field Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, and Operations teams.
Track program milestones and ensure successful execution of key initiatives.
Lead Management & Sales Follow‑Up
Support end‑to‑end lead management processes for North America marketing programs and events.
Monitor lead flow from campaigns, events, webinars, and digital programs to ensure timely routing and follow‑up.
Partner with Sales, BDR teams, and Marketing Operations to improve lead quality, response times, and conversion rates.
Track lead progression, engagement metrics, and pipeline impact across marketing programs.
Assist in developing dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into program performance, lead status, and sales follow‑up activities.
Help identify opportunities to improve lead management processes, nurture strategies, and overall marketing‑to‑sales alignment.
Field Marketing Team Support
Provide operational support for the North America Field Marketing Managers and leadership team.
Assist with planning and execution of customer events, executive engagement programs, roadshows, webinars, and sales meetings.
Manage program logistics, registration processes, communication plans, and post‑event follow‑up activities.
Support the development and maintenance of marketing calendars, planning documents, and project trackers.
Reporting & Operations
Maintain program documentation, budgets, and tracking tools.
Develop and distribute regular reporting on program performance, attendee engagement, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
Identify process improvements that drive efficiency and scalability across the field marketing organization.
Help establish best practices and operational rigor across the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, event management, program management, lead management, or related roles.
Strong understanding of marketing funnels, lead management processes, and sales alignment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Highly collaborative with a customer‑first mindset.
Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, or similar tools.
Photoshop, Canva, or other design application experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and reporting tools.
Experience supporting sales organizations and B2B marketing programs is highly desirable.
