Automotive Inventory Photographer (Digital Media Specialist)
Car City is seeking a dedicated Automotive Inventory Photographer with a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce high-quality vehicle photography and videos. This role is responsible for photographing dealership inventory, creating engaging vehicle descriptions, and ensuring all online listings accurately represent each vehicle. Responsibilities

Capture high‑quality vehicle photos and walk‑around videos using the Automotive Photo System, smartphone, and tablet.

Upload vehicle images using the appropriate inventory banners based on vehicle status and stage.

Write detailed, accurate, and engaging vehicle descriptions highlighting standard features, premium options, packages, and unique characteristics.

Reconcile online inventory listings across lead‑generation and sales platforms to ensure specifications, descriptions, and images are accurate and current.

Perform quality checks to ensure vehicles are clean and presentation‑ready before photography and videography.

Maintain production standards while ensuring consistency and attention to detail across all inventory.

Qualifications

Automotive knowledge and photography experience preferred.

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record to operate company vehicles.

Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing as a team player.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Excellent written communication and grammar skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

Ability to work in an automotive detail shop environment and comply with all safety standards and procedures.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (may occasionally finish before 5 p.m., depending on management discretion and business needs)

Flexibility to work overtime and occasional Fridays as business needs require.
