Senior Designer – Women’s Novelty Tops
Position Overview: As the Freelance Senior Designer, you will focus primarily on a wide range of novelty tops across cut-and-sew and woven categories. The designer will work closely with internal teams and retail partners to develop trend‑right product that aligns with customer needs and market opportunities. Strong collaboration with buyers will be important, particularly across key accounts such as Ross, MMX, and Burlington.

Responsibilities

Manage all production follow‑up to ensure continuity across ongoing design and development initiatives.

Manage product creation with attention to trend, detail, and commercial appeal.

Balance creativity with speed, and comfort working in a collaborative, deadline‑driven setting.

Build CADs and tech packs for new development styles.

Attend fittings and provide valuable design comments.

Present to buyers.

Qualifications

Experience working in licensing or private label.

Experience working across knit and woven categories.

Must be able to work onsite.

Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop.

Strong understanding of women’s mass market.
