Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Sales & Marketing Consultant with a proven ability to generate and close new business for our Melbourne office. This is a new business development role, and role is designed for a true “hunter” — someone who is driven by prospecting, thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, and is motivated by measurable results.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, consulting with business owners on marketing strategies, and converting prospects into long-term clients on retainer. This is a performance-driven position with clear activity expectations and significant earning potential. We will provide 65-75% of your leads, and the ability to cultivate your own pipeline as well. (Not a remote position).
Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities daily
Execute high-volume outbound activity (100+ calls per day) to generate qualified appointments and meetings. (Leads provided).
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, appointment setting, discovery, presentation, and closing
Consult with business owners to assess needs and recommend tailored marketing solutions
Build and maintain a consistent, high-quality sales pipeline
Track all activities, opportunities, and communications within company CRM
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to maximize revenue and client retention
Collaborate closely with leadership (Director and VP of Growth & Marketing) to align on strategy and performance
Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
Performance Expectations

Maintain daily outbound call volume of 100+ calls
Consistently generate qualified appointments and new business opportunities
Achieve monthly sales targets and KPI benchmarks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM reporting
Demonstrate continuous improvement in conversion rates and sales effectiveness
Qualifications & Experience

Proven success in inside sales, business development, or high-volume cold calling environments
Experience in B2B, or software sales preferred
Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and value-based selling
Demonstrated ability to manage and close a full sales cycle independently
Proficiency with CRM platforms
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Self-motivated, coachable, and driven to exceed performance goals
