Position Summary

Lead Director, Enterprise Sports Sponsorships (Partnerships & Activation) at CVS Health. This role shapes how CVS Health engages priority client and stakeholder audiences through partnerships, hospitality, and experiences. Responsibilities include strategy development, execution of integrated activation plans, executive-level communication, and cross-functional alignment to drive measurable relationship and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of integrated activation plans across partnerships, translating strategy into cohesive, high‑impact programs spanning hospitality, events, and brand touchpoints.
Design and deliver flagship, high‑visibility experiences (marquee events, premium hospitality, or tentpole activations) that create differentiated engagement with priority clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Partner closely with commercial teams, account leaders, and enterprise stakeholders to define priority audiences, engagement strategies, and success criteria, ensuring alignment to business priorities.
Identify, evaluate, and support the negotiation of new partnership opportunities aligned to strategic priorities; lead onboarding and activation of new partners, ensuring seamless integration into the broader sponsorship portfolio.
Lead the planning and execution of hospitality experiences as intentional relationship‑building tools, ensuring every interaction is thoughtful, personalized, and outcome‑driven.
Develop bold, differentiated experiences that bring the CVS Health brand to life, ensuring activations are premium, memorable, and reinforce market leadership with external audiences.
Develop clear, concise, and compelling executive‑level communications that synthesize complex inputs into strategic priorities, program updates, and performance insights.
Define and track KPIs that link activation efforts to outcomes such as client engagement, influence, and business impact; continuously optimize programs based on performance insights.
Lead agencies and external partners, providing clear strategic direction and ensuring high‑quality, experience‑led execution.
Build planning processes and ways of working that enable scalable execution while maintaining a high bar for quality and impact.
Bring deep industry expertise and a strong point of view on partnerships, activation, and hospitality; continuously raise the bar for program quality, innovation, and impact.
Build and activate a strong internal network across functions to extend the value of partnerships, connecting initiatives and stakeholders to maximize enterprise impact.
Required Qualifications

7+ years partnership/sponsorship/client engagement experience.
Proven ability to translate strategy into integrated activation plans and programs, with clearly defined audiences, objectives, and KPIs.
7+ years partnership development and negotiation experience.
Track record of building or scaling partnership platforms or engagement models, including aligning multiple components into a cohesive, differentiated program.
7+ years budget/program management experience with multi‑million‑dollar spend.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed organizations, aligning diverse stakeholders and navigating competing priorities.
Strong understanding of how to leverage partnerships, hospitality, and experiences to drive relationship and business impact.
Proven ability to develop executive‑level communications, synthesizing complex inputs into clear narratives, priorities, and decision‑ready materials.
7+ years of experience managing agencies, vendors, or external partners with accountability for delivery and performance.
Strong communication and leadership presence, with demonstrated ability to confidently engage, influence, and operate in high‑visibility environments with senior internal and external audiences, including executive clients and stakeholders.
Brings industry expertise and a strong understanding of best practices, with a demonstrated ability to elevate program quality and impact.
Proven ability to operate as a highly effective, cross‑functional operator, building strong internal relationships and leveraging networks to maximize value.
5+ years of experience within sports, entertainment, sponsorship, or partnership‑driven organizations.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in B2B, client‑facing, or commercial marketing environments where partnerships or experiences drive relationship outcomes.
Experience within technology, healthcare, or other complex enterprise organizations.
Experience in golf, premium hospitality, or marquee event environments (e.g., PGA, major tournaments, or similar high‑end hosting platforms).
Experience developing or supporting integrated sponsorship or partnership activations across multiple channels.
Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $100,000.00 – $231,540.00 annually (base salary).
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range. It also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
