Position Details
Pay range: Starts at $19.50/hr – $22.77/hr; additional compensation includes shift differential (up to $2.00/hr), relevant field experience (up to $2.00/hr), and credit for higher education ($0.48/hr for bachelor’s degree; $0.72/hr for master’s degree).

Schedule: 2nd shift (2:45 pm to 11:00 pm)

Location: Pine Hills, FL

Position Overview
As a Program Supervisor, you will oversee the operations of a residential program serving children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. This leadership role ensures safety, compliance, and quality care while supporting staff and maintaining a therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision of clients

Supervise and support staff to ensure residents’ needs are met

Demonstrate leadership and delegate tasks to Direct Support Professionals

Ensure staff actively engage with individuals and assist with crises when needed

Conduct 10‑minute safety checks and document observations

Perform contraband checks (room sweeps for sharps/dangerous items)

Oversee medication management (administer, verify ingestion, and document)

Document daily activities and behaviors in shift notes

Prepare meals, including cooking, proper food storage, and occasional grocery shopping

Maintain cleanliness of facility grounds, residents’ rooms/bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry

Transport individuals to school, appointments, and community outings

Communicate effectively with the clinical treatment team and day program leadership

Qualifications
Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)

Post‑secondary education (preferred)

Experience

Prior behavioral health experience (preferred)

1+ years in a residential treatment center (preferred)

1+ years of supervisory experience (preferred)

Other Requirements

Pass pre‑employment medical screenings including drug test, physical exam, and TB test

Must be at least 21 years of age or older

Pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida

Valid driver’s license; occasional driving of Devereux vehicles required (car and passenger van)

Must be willing to be on call 24/7
