Accessibility Expert UI Developer

Seeking a remote contract Accessibility Expert UI Developer, the candidate will focus on building clean, semantic user interfaces and implementing digital accessibility standards across high-visibility state agency projects while collaborating with UX architects.
Key responsibilities

Build and maintain user interfaces that comply with modern web standards and accessibility guidelines
Integrate frontend user interfaces into Angular or MVC .NET frameworks while ensuring digital accessibility from the ground up
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical frontend requirements and accessibility best practices

Required qualifications

6 years of experience with semantic HTML5, CSS, and SASS
6 years of experience implementing WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards and ARIA compliance
6 years of experience in keyboard navigation and focus management
6 years of experience with screen reader testing tools (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
6 years of experience in Angular and MVC .NET frameworks
