Telna is the global leader in B2B eSIM enablement, providing the network infrastructure and technology stack that powers eSIM connectivity across more than 200 countries and territories. Our partners include mobile network operators launching disruptive travel eSIM brands, super apps embedding eSIM connectivity as a core product feature, and MVNOs using the Telna network to acquire and serve their own subscriber base.Telna's commercial proposition extends beyond connectivity. We are building a centralized marketing advisory capability that sits at the center of our partner ecosystem, helping MNOs, MVNOs, and super app partners go to market faster, acquire customers more efficiently, and build brands that resonate in the global eSIM roaming space.The RoleWe are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer based in Miami or open to relocate to Miami to lead Telna's centralized marketing advisory function. This is not a traditional brand-side CMO role. You will serve as the senior marketing advisor to Telna's network of MNO and MVNO partners and super app clients as they launch and scale eSIM-enabled products and brands, providing both strategic direction and KPI frameworks to guide their marketing decisions.You will assemble a team deeply skilled across affiliate partnerships, paid media, e-commerce, organic and community growth, brand strategy, and offline activation. That team will serve as the marketing expertise available to Telna's partners, giving them access to advisory capability and strategic frameworks that most MNOs, emerging eSIM brands, and super apps cannot develop in-house. You will work closely with Telna's senior leadership team and operate as a trusted strategic partner to our customers.What You Will DoCentralized Marketing Advisory TeamRecruit and lead a multi-discipline team spanning brand, performance marketing, affiliate, e-commerce, and communityStructure the function to operate as an advisory team capable of running parallel engagements across multiple partners simultaneouslyEstablish the processes, tooling, and reporting frameworks that make marketing advisory a scalable and repeatable service Telna can offer as part of its commercial propositionBrand Strategy and IdentityAdvise MNO and MVNO partners on brand positioning, naming, identity, and go-to-market strategy as they launch eSIM products on the Telna networkHelp super app partners define how eSIM connectivity should be branded, positioned, and merchandised within their existing product experienceHelp partners develop brand playbooks and identity frameworks they can own, adapt, and scale independently in their own marketsGuide Telna's corporate brand positioning as the partner of choice in the eSIM enablement space, spanning both above-the-line and below-the-line channelsAffiliate and Partner MarketingAdvise MNO and MVNO partners on affiliate program structure, including platform selection, commission design, attribution modelling, and publisher recruitment strategiesHelp partners identify and approach travel-adjacent co-marketing channels including airlines, OTAs, loyalty programs, and travel mediaGuide partners in developing influencer and content creator strategies suited to the travel and connectivity category in their target marketsPaid Media and Performance MarketingAdvise partner brands on paid media strategy across search, social, display, and programmatic channels as they launch in new marketsHelp partners define performance marketing KPIs including CAC targets, ROAS benchmarks, and payback period expectations appropriate to their business model and stageGuide super app partners on paid strategies to drive eSIM feature adoption from within their existing user base, including retargeting, push, and in-app paid placementsE-Commerce and Conversion OptimizationAdvise partner brands on e-commerce best practices for direct eSIM sales, covering landing page strategy, checkout flow, onboarding, and lifecycle communicationsHelp partners assess and improve their direct-to-consumer e-commerce funnels for eSIM activation and subscription, with clear conversion KPIs at each stageGuide partners on CRO strategy, testing methodologies, and personalization approaches that can be applied and measured within their own platformsOrganic Growth and CommunityHelp partners develop organic acquisition strategies covering SEO, content marketing, social media, and community platforms suited to their brand and audienceGuide partners in seeding community and advocacy programs in the travel and connectivity space that they can own and grow in their own marketsAdvise on PR and earned media strategies that position partner brands as credible voices in the eSIM roaming categoryOffline and Experiential MarketingAdvise partners on offline activation strategies in high-traffic travel environments including airports, travel retail locations, and transit hubsHelp partners identify and approach distribution channel opportunities such as airlines, hotel groups, and OTAs for co-marketing and point-of-sale integrationRepresent Telna and its partner ecosystem at industry events including MWC, GSMA, and travel trade showsGuide MNO and super app partners in designing experiential marketing concepts that drive eSIM trial and activation at the point of travelAdvisory Approach for Super App PartnersA significant portion of this role is dedicated to advising super app partners that are incorporating eSIM connectivity into their platforms. These are fintech apps, ride‑hailing platforms, digital wallets, loyalty programs, and travel super apps with large existing user bases adding eSIM as a high‑value feature. The strategic challenge differs from a standalone brand launch: the focus is on feature adoption, monetization within an existing product context, and setting the right KPIs to measure success.Advise super app product and marketing teams on how eSIM should be introduced, explained, and sold to their existing user baseHelp partners design in‑app marketing strategies including onboarding flows, feature discovery moments, push notification sequences, and upsell mechanics tied to travel intent signalsGuide partners in developing lifecycle marketing programs that convert passive users to active eSIM subscribers, with clear KPIs around activation rate, attach rate, and repeat usageAdvise on pricing presentation, plan merchandising, and value communication strategies that drive conversion within a super app environmentHelp partners define the right success metrics for eSIM as a feature, including penetration rates, revenue per user contribution, and retention impactWhat You Bring12 or more years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or advisory role overseeing a multi‑discipline teamDeep understanding of telecom, mobile, or eSIM services; candidates without telecom or mobile industry experience will not be consideredProven track record advising on or directly building affiliate programs, including platform management, commission structures, and partner recruitmentHands‑on expertise in e‑commerce growth, including paid media, CRO, lifecycle marketing, and checkout optimizationStrong brand‑building background with experience advising on brand architecture, identity systems, and go‑to‑market strategy across multiple brands or clientsExperience designing or overseeing offline and experiential marketing programs including travel retail, airport activations, events, and OOHDemonstrated ability to develop organic growth strategies including SEO, content marketing, and communityExperience working within or alongside super app environments, platforms, or digital ecosystems is a strong advantageFamiliarity with the travel, MVNO, or eSIM roaming ecosystem is a strong advantageLeadership and MindsetAdvisor mentality with the ability to influence and guide partner teams without direct ownership of executionEqually comfortable setting strategy and defining KPIs as you are reviewing results and adjusting recommendationsStrong commercial acumen with the ability to connect marketing investment to measurable partner revenue and growth outcomesCollaborative working style with the ability to operate as a trusted advisor to external partners as well as Telna's internal leadership teamComfortable managing multiple partner advisory mandates simultaneously with competing priorities and different market contextsLocationThis position is based in Miami, Florida.
