Managing Director – Investment Banking (IT Services)

A highly regarded, growth‑focused investment bank is seeking an accomplished Managing Director to lead and expand its IT Services advisory practice in New York.

Key Responsibilities

Originate and execute M&A, private capital, and strategic advisory mandates within the IT Services sector.
Develop and deepen relationships with founder‑led businesses, private equity firms, and strategic acquirers.
Lead transaction execution from origination through closing, ensuring exceptional client service throughout.
Mentor and develop junior bankers while fostering a high‑performance, collaborative team environment.
Work closely with sector and product specialists to deliver creative, tailored solutions for clients.
Contribute to the strategic growth of the firm’s Technology Investment Banking practice.

Candidate Profile

Proven track record as a Managing Director or Senior Director with meaningful transaction origination responsibilities.
Deep sector expertise across IT Services, including areas such as digital transformation, managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, consulting, infrastructure services, or enterprise technology.
Strong network of corporate executives, entrepreneurs, financial sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to originate and close complex M&A and capital markets transactions.
Commercially driven with exceptional relationship‑building and leadership skills.
FINRA registrations (or ability to obtain them) as required.
