Responsibilities
identify a target market for new business and subsequently develop and establish a book of new business from those relationships
negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of a variety of major and complex loans in compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures
develop business checking and deposit relationships with customers
assist clients with deposit related products and services
gather and analyze client information to recommend appropriate deposit product solutions
compile and analyze market research data to develop recommendations regarding products and services focused on needs of target market
engage in business development activities and solicitation of new business based on the target market
collaborate closely with treasury partner to ensure seamless client experiences
call and visit target customers to promote and sell Bank products and services to establish a new book of business
develop and maintain customer database including calls and results on all new business relationships
make reports to superiors as required
interview prospective applicants and request specified information related to loan or credit application
perform basic pre‑qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends
gather all information necessary to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval
meet with new/potential customers and visit sites of loans
negotiate loan terms and conditions and refer/recommend acceptance to the Chief Credit Officer or Loan Committee
coordinate processing of approved loans
ensure loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to Bank lending policies
present products and services experiencing less than satisfactory performance to senior management
represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank’s image and develop additional business
Requirements
8+ years of related experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Experience in Digital Asset Banking
Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
Advanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management
Advanced organizational and time management skills
Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
May require up to 50% travel
