Director, Marketing Operations - US Obesity

Role Responsibilities Lead end-to-end marketing operations for the US Consumer Obesity franchise, including content/creative workflow, asset management, MLR submission planning, and project tracking across consumer-facing programs.
Manage agency operations (scopes, burn rates, work product, reporting) aligned with budgets/benchmarks and drive year-over-year efficiency.
Own the marketing operations technology stack (e.g., Workfront, Veeva Vault), driving adoption and optimization.
Build and maintain operational dashboards/reporting for content pipeline health, budget utilization, and project status.
Collaborate cross-functionally with CMO, MLR, S&C, and digital partners to identify dependencies, resolve bottlenecks, and address operational challenges.
Develop/evolve operational playbooks, governance frameworks, and ways of working.
Ensure integration across paid, owned, and earned execution by partnering with media, digital, and performance teams.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve operations.
Basic Qualifications BA/BS with 8+ years or MBA/MS with 7+ years in marketing operations/content operations/brand marketing or related field; pharmaceutical/healthcare experience required.
Experience managing content/creative production workflows in a regulated environment (including MLR or equivalent).
Track record managing agency relationships, scopes, and budgets in a large organization.
Strong executive presence and verbal/written communication; ability to influence.
Strategic, operationally disciplined; builds structure in ambiguity; drives results.
Familiarity with consumer marketing deliverables (e.g., research, message maps, promotional assets).
Preferred Qualifications Omnichannel marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Workfront, Veeva Vault).
Consumer/DTC marketing ops plus HCP-facing content workflows.
Performance marketing metrics/optimization; digital transformation and content supply chain exposure.
Experience supporting a pharmaceutical product launch.
